VibeLiving ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application handles your health data and personal information.

Data Collection and Usage

Health Data

• What we access: With your explicit permission, VibeLiving reads health data from Apple Health, including steps, distance, active energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep duration, and workouts.
• How we use it: This data is used solely to display your health metrics and generate AI-powered insights within the app.
• Storage: Your health data is never stored on our servers or transmitted anywhere except to the AI service you choose (via Poe API) when you explicitly request insights or engage in chat.
• Local processing: All health data aggregation and chart generation happens locally on your device.

API Keys

• What we store: If you provide a Poe API key, it is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.
• How we use it: The API key is used to authenticate requests to the Poe API for AI insights and chat functionality.
• Access: Only VibeLiving can access this key through the iOS Keychain. We never transmit it to our servers.

Usage Analytics

VibeLiving does NOT collect any usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data. We do not use third-party analytics services.

Third-Party Services

Poe API (poe.com)

When you use AI features (insights or chat), VibeLiving sends your health data and messages to the Poe API, operated by Quora, Inc. This is necessary to generate AI responses. Please review Poe's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle data.

Apple HealthKit

VibeLiving integrates with Apple HealthKit to read your health data. All HealthKit interactions follow Apple's strict privacy guidelines. Your health data remains under your control through iOS Health app permissions.

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your health data with advertisers
• Use your data for marketing purposes
• Store your health data on external servers

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Control which health data VibeLiving can access through iOS Health app permissions
• Delete your API key and cached insights by clearing data in Settings
• Stop using VibeLiving at any time by deleting the app

Data Retention

• Health Data: Never stored by VibeLiving on external servers
• Cached Insights: Stored locally on your device for 1 hour, then automatically deleted
• Chat History: Stored locally on your device using SwiftData. You can clear it anytime from the Chat screen.
• API Key: Stored in iOS Keychain until you explicitly remove it

Children's Privacy

VibeLiving is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of VibeLiving after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
